Our morning juice drink has morphed and changed over the years. I often get asked what the latest concoction is coming out of our kitchen in the mornings!

Here you go, our latest! I particularly love the anti-inflammatory properties of this drink with the fresh ginger and turmeric in it! YUMMY!!!

Morning Juice
Serves 2 (about 2 cups worth!)
We use a slow masticating juicer

Ingredients:
1 Lemon Peeled
1+ inch of fresh ginger (see 1 below)
1+ inch of fresh turmeric (see 1 below)
Green leafy veg – 2 to 4 large handfuls of two different greens (see 2 below)
one stalk of celery
one medium carrot
1 small beet
2 inches of cucumber (english, or regular)
cabbage 1/5 of medium head (red or regular)

Notes:
(1) If you are not used to ginger and turmeric in your drinks, start with a smaller amount and build up over a couple of weeks.

(2) spinach, kale (all varieties), collard greens, beet greens, parsley, lettuce (all varieties) or (use your imagination)

Fennel
Bok Choy
Sprouts (been, dandelion, alfalfa)
Wheat grass
