Super Energy Smoothie
This smoothie is packed with high quality protein to help build muscle and almond butter which makes you feel fuller longer during an active day. Fresh fruit provides an array of minerals and vitamins and cocoa nibs give an energizing kick. Banana is rich in potassium, acting as an electrolyte and keeping the body hydrated throughout the day.
Ingredients: (Makes one serving)
2 scoops of your favorite protein powder (my personal favorite is Garden of Life RAW Protein)
3-4 strawberries
2 Tablespoons blueberries
1/2 banana (frozen adds thickness & makes the smoothie cold)
1 Tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon cocoa nibs
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a blender – except the cocoa nibs – then blend. After blended smooth, add cocoa nibs and pulse just until they’ve been incorporated.
Serve and enjoy!
